Victoria

“Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead.” Oscar Wilde

An extravagant gown with playful details. This was the idea that I had in mind for Jennifer when working on Victoria. A pleasant lady with an exquisite taste, I decided to turn Victoria into a romantic dream, with thoughtfully hand-sewn flowers and layers of blush tulle that are well-represented throughout.

The bustier has a light-handed scatter of French lace, flanked by short sleeves made of fluffy tulle. Keeping in mind not to overwhelm the curves of the beautiful bride, I added a giant ribbon to help accentuate her waist.

To keep on the romantic theme, layers of gathered tulle springs from the ribbon, mirroring the flow of a waterfall into a dramatic train. To add an extra dimension to the skirt, hand-sewn blooms have been carefully placed onto the train of the gown in a series of soft explosion.

All in all, Victoria is a reflection of the dreamy and passionate love of a young couple that gives life to the blossoms.
